The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. "My booking here was made literally last minute. And the receptionist greeted me so warm and even listened to my problem I had earlier. She was so helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else from now on in Napier but there. The room was warm and cosy, heaps of space and the amenities were great. I wish I could’ve stayed another night. I’ll definitely be back again "
