"Another fantastic stay at my favourite Bucharest hotel. Yes it’s only a 2 star hotel and therefore basic, but it takes care of my needs. Reception staff are efficient, kind and very friendly. Housekeeping is amazing, and my room was fully serviced every day. The hotel is a very short walk from all the major transport networks, Main train station is only a 3 minute walk away and the trams, buses and Metro only a few yards away. "

"lovely staff literally helped us with everything! expedia needs to change the description saying these rooms are sound proof they’re anything but, you can literally hear the people next door talking and everyone outside. not a major issue but don’t book this hotel if you want “soundproof” rooms. would just like to say again how lovely all the staff were "

Great restaurants on site with the exception of la cucina, the Italian one which did not have items on the menu that we wanted and offered us a reheated other than what we had ordered item. Very bad experince. Olea and the steakhouse were excellent though. J. W. Marriot is a gem!"

"The hotel is located in the historic old city near the National Bank. The area is safe and clean. It is convenient for doing anything in the city, tourism or business. The breakfast was most impressive. Great service and plentiful choice of food, everything was amazing. Good old tradition of high end hotel is preserved here with a very reasonable price. My wife and I had a great time here."
