"I have booked with VRBO for years. The booking said Ski in and out with a renovated surroundings. First … walking down 2 flights of stairs icy wooden walkway , across a icy parking lot, up a bank of snow and down in ski boots is not what I call ski in and out. Close to slopes is one thing! Second, my family cooks in for meals. The pots and pans were dirty and awful. Didn’t have enough silverware or glasses! Mattresses in master and second bedroom were old and uncomfortable. "We came into town to see our friend play a two night show at Pickle Barrel. The place was perfect. Check in info was thorough and easy. Kim was great. She was responsive to communications and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here or one of her other properties again!"

"Stayed here with the family for 5 nights for midweek skiing. Have stayed in Sunrise before so we know we like the area. This unit gave us what we needed. Shame the fire wasn't working, but not the end of the world. The keypad door lock was great instead of needing a key. Would prefer regular toilet seats instead of squishy ones. They also don't stay up so have to be held. My teens would have liked the lock on the kids bathroom to work (it locked the handle, but the door could just be pushed...

"We had trouble finding the condo at first and could not get a hold of anyone that knew where to go. Once we found it, check in was quick and easy. It was super convenient to the ski slopes and overall was a great place to stay."

"Booked this terrific log cabin for its closeness to Slate Valley Trails for our annual Memorial Day Weekend mountain bike getaway. Terrific location, quiet spot on a gravel road with woods and farmlands. Great kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable! So quiet at night, all we heard were a pair of barred owls calling to each other. Highly recommend!"

"My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,...
