I was first given a room located down the end of the row (Room 25); and he stopped himself and gave me Room 20 instead because the people located in the next room had kids and were noisy. I thought that was very intuitive because I was by myself. The room was OK but it SMELLED. I cannot identify what it smelled like. I didn't complain, figuring all the rooms smelled. I tried to open the windows, but couldn't very well. The place was built probably in the '50s and had a weird apparatus. I believe the host was in my room while I was absent putting in a few towels, which was fine, but if so, it proves the "all rooms smelled" theory. During the night I woke up several times and finally was able to open a different window quite a bit. I couldn't BREATHE because I was conjested. I thought, am I catching a cold? No. I got home and was totally FINE. I believe that the room had black mold which caused my breathing problem and the smell.
