Steps to the River! River Edge Cabin

River Edge log cabin only 10 minutes to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. This beautiful cabin is located on a private ranch just steps to the river bank of the Middle Fork River with river access. Located just a 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk to 4 fishing/swimming accesses. A fisherman's dream vacation spot! You can access the river through the woods and down the trail. Steep decline to be expected.



Enter this beautiful cabin to find all the luxuries of home. Enjoy the living room seating area watching your favorite shows on apple tv, surfing the internet or take in the views through the large picture windows looking out to the great Montana outdoors.

This one level cabin also offers a full size kitchen for all your cooking needs and a cozy dining area seating for 4. There are two private bedrooms down the hall each offering one Queen bed. Down the same hall you will find one shared full size bathroom.



On this working ranch, you will find our loveable friendly dogs and horses. Feel free to spend some time petting our ranch animals, they love the attention. Finish your evenings playing in Montana great outdoors by enjoying some star gazing outside or building a small campfire in the firepit off the main deck. A true Montana log cabin outside Glacier National Park!



Please note: Montana can become very dry and cause us to be in High Fire Danger. Our fire pits are not guaranteed to be available due to these constant changing conditions. Please inquire with us prior to your arrival should you have any questions about our fire pit availability.



Our property sleeps no more than 4 guests max. This property does not allow pets or smoking inside.At time of reservation, we do require reserved guest to sign a rental agreement. Our confirmation email will include the link to the agreement from Glacier View Vacation Rentals. 



2025 Reservations: We will open our calendar to all 2025 reservations starting August 1st, 2024. Please check back with us, to reserve your spot with us.

Very clean newer construction well furnished cabin ideally located near the Flathead River. Christine is a great property manager and a good communicator. We enjoyed playing with the owner’s 2 dogs(Porter and Willy). Is a great location for GNP and surrounding areas. Would stay again.

Trained architect loves this cabin's architecture
This cabin is fabulous. If you ever want to live in a log cabin in the woods this place is a must. It is log cabin kitted out for the 23rd Century. It is very understated. A beautiful book on the creation of the going to the sun road is in the living room. Thank you Ellen Blankenship.

Great Stay
We loved staying in this cabin on our trip to Montana. If you're looking to go to Glacier National Park most days, the access to the park from here is great. The cabin was comfortable and had a fairly well stocked kitchen. I was nervous about the warm summer days and the lack of AC, but it was honestly not an issue. The access to the river is very easy and our daughter loved the visits from the dogs and visiting the horses in the evening. Thanks for letting us make great memories here :)

Fabulous cabin in secluded location.
The log cabin was spotless and had everything we needed including a kitchen with all the essentials, a cooler , bear spray and binoculars to use. Location to the West Glacier entrance was ideal! About 10-12 minutes. I highly recommend this cabin.

A Little Slice if Heaven
The cabin was delightful. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed walking down to the river. The amenities were more than we expected. We were not expecting TV (never even turned it on) or WiFi (which worked very well). The linens are exceptional and the beds comfortable. We used the deck every morning and evening enjoying the peace and tranquility around us. A fire in the fire pit one evening was delightful. The dogs and horses were enjoyable to sp bd time with. Felt just like a home a at from home and we would highly recommend it.

Perfect for our Glacier elopement!
We booked this property mostly for its proximity to Glacier NP, as well as it being a beautiful spot and adorable cabin. It was the perfect place to get ready for our elopement and spend the next few days relaxing and enjoying nature! We loved our morning wake up call from the neighbor dogs. We will definitely be back!
