The communication with the hosts were direct and speedy with responses, an attribute that made our weekend even more enjoyable! From the cute landscape surrounding the cabin, to every aspect inside that was available for us. I look forward to hopefully making more trips back to this quaint destination for an escape from the hustle of Jersey!”

“My friends and I stayed here for a weekend together. The house was perfect for hosting all of us. We were able to make meals together, sled in the backyard and play games. The house was really cozy and really worked out great for our reunion. There's a grocery store nearby and about 20 minutes to skiing. Communication with the property management was great.”

“What a view!!! If you would like one of the best vistas nature has to offer, this place is it. Our host was amazing and made sure our stay was perfect.”

“Really beautiful, especially in the fall. We came the second week in October and some reds had fallen but there was a lot of yellow. We were so warm and cozy! There is no way to cook food though, just an outdoor sink, fresh water, and toilet. If you’re coming from out of town make sure you rent a car. There is no Lyft or Uber service in the area.”

“We had never been to Vermont and were driving 8.5 hours to get there...i was slightly worried about the check in process as i had seen other comments that it wasnt great...and after a long trip i wanted to easily get in. The process was very smooth, and they even let us check in early! The cabin is exactly as looks online and very clean. In a campground that looks to be well.looked after. It wasnt open while we were there ans was very quiet. A few small things to note: there were no kitchen...

“Four of us, including our 6 year old grandson, stayed here for the 2024 total eclipse. We had a great time -- quiet and peaceful with starry nights and open views across the pond toward Jay Peak. Taking the paddle boat out on a half-frozen pond, as we waited for the eclipse, was big fun with the 6-year-old. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very well supplied in terms of recreation gear, kitchen needs, towels, chairs for lounging, and more. Five minutes away is Hoagie's, a tiny store for...

The serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape, and the cabin's cozy atmosphere felt like a home away from home. Safety was a top priority, and the quiet ambiance added to the charm. “Nothing to share but the kindest of words for Danny and his property. Gorgeous location, dog friendly and close in proximity to Jay. We felt safe crating our dogs while we rode, and took the liberty of doing some exploration on the property while we were there. Can definitely see us renting again (and again) if Danny lets us!”
