“My husband and I enjoyed a weekend in Grand Haven. The house is perfect location, a quick easy 10 minute walk to downtown shops, restaurants, breweries, Grand Haven State Park and Chinook Pier. We walked everywhere! Loved the upper apartment, it was perfect for the two of us.”

“The house was really nice and cute. The location was ideal. Our family could ride our bikes to the beach, parks and even a couple restaurants!”

“This house is fantastic, the location is super close to town but away from others. You can still hear the traffic, but if you look up river, all you see is a stunning wetland river ecosystem and a sweet old railroad bridge. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck over the river, saw a pair of mallards, swans, Canada geese, a turtle and a water snake in just a short time frame. The house was comfortable, and meet our needs.”

“I have stayed at many rental properties across the world over the list 10+ years and this is one of my top favorites. The house was a great size for 9 of us - comfy beds, 3 full baths with plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked with more appliances, cutlery, and dishware than I've ever had at any other rental property, and a big full basement. It was cold but the kids still hiked, and played outside. Definitely a summer home town. Ryan was very responsive to all my questions, great communicator...

“Decided last minute to spend 3 days with family. Have traveled to Michigan for 30 years but have never visited the Silver Lake area. The area and the house were both hidden gems for our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to relax or have fun including private lakefront access a few hundred feet away from the front door. Nice kitchen with spacious counter, huge firepit, outdoor hot water shower, huge yard, and another firepit at the lake for watching beautiful sunsets....

“The property is gorgeous. Very tranquil and peaceful. The home was very clean and had just about everything we needed. While we never needed to contact the owners for anything, they were wonderful about checking in to be sure everything was going smoothly, as well as checking to see if we needed anything. We're already thinking of a second trip. You will not be disappointed ☀”

“We spent a chilly, rainy week at the cabin and still had a great time. The steps up and down to the lake are a lot, but are exactly as described in the posting. We had no troubles using them even in the rain. Everything was clean and ready for us to use when we arrived.”

“Place had 9 useable beds for 1 adult each. More sleeping available if you share beds. My group had 8 older males so place was perfect for our golf adventure. Played 3 local courses including twice at American Dunes. What a great course on its own but I don't believe you'll find a more patriotic course in all of golf. House had all the amenities that a group of 8 would want. Also, some of my group even fished off the private dock. Kayaks weren't used but recommended for the more serious...

“This property was within walking distance to pretty much everything. The Art and BBQ Festival was happening the same weekend as our stay. We were able to walk there and back easily. The beach is so close, the dune buggy rentals and the dunes themselves are also very close. It was perfect for our trip!”

“This was the perfect property for our group who was in town to visit family. We all had plenty of room, and the house has tons of seating areas. Some of the lighting was a bit tricky to figure out, but that was a minor thing. Only thing lacking in the kitchen was potholders, so we just used kitchen towels and went on with our meal. Hot tub was a nice touch at the end of the day!”

“My family visited for a long weekend due to my daughter’s dance competition in Fruitport. The home was clean, appeared as advertised, and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc). Communication from the hosts was excellent - clear, friendly, and timely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and making s’mores on the fire pit by the lake. We’d definitely visit again!”
