"All of North Hero Island is a vacation-within-a-vacation. We loved-and needed!-this break from the stress of every day life, and we're so glad we found this unique place. We especially enjoyed the perfect 180-degree view of the lake from our screened-in porch, a comfy king sized bed and great shower, and the delicious complimentary breakfast. Our only real issue was that because we arrived after 11 pm and everything was tucked in for the night, we had trouble locating the entrance in the dark! (It's on the side, toward the back.) Perhaps a small light over the sign would keep other night owls from having to tromp around in the grass with their suitcases, searching for the right door. The Pier Bar just next door to our cottage was also a happy surprise. Highly recommend this cozy, unforgettable place!"

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in, we knew it was going to be a quiet and relaxing long weekend. House was clean and very comfortable. The view was amazing especially at sunrise. We had one minor hiccup. We accidentally set off the smoke dectors and couldn't shut them off. Called Josie and she was over to help us out immediately. We were sad to leave but if our lives ever take us back to Alburgh, VT we will definitely rent this beautiful house again."

"Enjoyed beautiful sunset view, grilling dinner, 2 firepits, kayaks for short exploring of neighboring homes along the lake, coffee on the front porch watching the horses across the street, walking along the quiet road to the Hog Island Market, friendly neighbors, visit to a fun antique shop and beautiful hiking spots nearby, and a short drive to Canada for a nice dinner out. Bonuses were pet-friendly stay (our 2 dogs had a great time) and clean, cozy lake cottage with more than enough space and everything we needed for a fun, peaceful and scenic late summer get away!"

"The property is absolutely gorgeous! Cottage was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. All three beds were very comfortable. Watched the beautiful sunset from the lawn, overlooking Lake Champlain each evening. Our host, Moishe, was lovely and responded quickly to questions prior to our trip. Everything was as advertised. We went inside The Holy Angel Catholic Church, St Albans City....breathtaking! Also, went to Pie in the Sky for lunch; was the best pizza I ever had. Wonderful vacation!"

"We booked this rental to get away from our busy lives and relax and this was perfect for us. The balcony is where we spent hours and hours just watching the sun set, reading books, drinking coffee and wine. The location was perfect for us because our only agenda was to relax. We did find a fantastic winery, a few towns to explore, and a sandy beach (dune) that we had all to ourselves to celebrate our anniversary. Also I’m not too proud to say the couches provided the perfect naps, pure heaven. "
