"Cute little B&B right in near the centre of Competa, walking distance to supermarket, bars and restaurants. The room was clean and had all the necessities, a comfortable bed, and roomy shower with lots of hot water. Hosts were very quick to respond and provided easy instructions. "A really nice traditional hotel in the hills close to Frigiliana and above Nerja. Our room was large with a nice balcony with views down to the coast. The bathroom was also large. "Highly recommend. Gorgeous, central location overlooking the main Plaza and church tower. Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. I also loved the rooftop gourmet breakfast and well-stocked honor bar. Such a thoughtful place to stay."

"It was very spacious. Would stay again for a sleepy, lazy, beachy vacation. If you are doing a lot in Malaga proper be prepared to do a 30 minute bus each way. Not bad but not walkable."

"Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."
