The Indianapolis Colts were originally founded in Baltimore in 1953 as part of the American Football Conference ‘s South Division. Led by star quarterback Johnny Unitas, the Baltimore Colts won the Super Bowl in 1970 over the Dallas Cowboys. After a series of disappointing season, the Colts moved to Indianapolis in 1984.
