West Hollywood Edition

5.0 star property
Luxury West Hollywood hotel in Norma Triangle, near Beverly Center Shopping Mall
8.6

Excellent

If you’re looking for the best of everything L.A. has to offer — the West Hollywood Edition is the perfect place to stay. It’s on Sunset Blvd and always hosts industry events so you never know which famous person you might run into. Plus, the rooftop restaurant + pool offers stunning views of the whole city.

Proper Hotel

4.5 star property
Luxury Los Angeles hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, near Orpheum Theatre
9.2

Wonderful

If a city vibe is more your style, the Proper Hotel in downtown Los Angeles is your perfect getaway. Not only does the rooftop restaurant Cara Cara offer gorgeous views of downtown, the lobby restaurant Caldo Verde is very chic.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

5.0 star property
5-star luxury hotel near Rodeo Drive
9.2

Wonderful

Did someone say luxury? The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is where you go to be treated like royalty. Of course, you’re going to pay a premium — but it’s vacation! Plus, if you plan on doing some shopping on Rodeo Drive it’s just a short car ride away.

Freehand Los Angeles

4.0 star property
Beaux Arts Los Angeles hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, near Crypto.com Arena
7.8

Good

Balling on a budget? No problem. The Freehand is the place to be. The vibes are eclectic, artsy, and fun — and so is the rooftop bar. There’s valet parking, thankfully, because parking downtown can be a hassle.

Mama Shelter Los Angeles

4.0 star property
4-star Los Angeles hotel in Hollywood, walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame
8.4

Very Good

Mama Shelter is always a great time. It’s very popular among the L.A. locals — aside from the cozy rooms, the rooftop restaurant has great music, daybeds (with heaters), and is perfect for group hangouts. If you’re looking to mix and mingle with the young Hollywood crowd, this is perfect.

Conrad Los Angeles

5.0 star property
5-star luxury hotel connected to a shopping center in Downtown Los Angeles
9.2

Wonderful

What the Waldorf Astoria is to Beverly Hills, The Conrad is to Downtown. It’s luxurious, has three upscale bars and restaurants — including the gorgeous rooftop Agua Viva. It’s fairly new and not many people know about it. Like the Waldorf Astoria, it’s on the pricier side — but with Agua Viva’s beach club vibe and the location being directly across from the Broad Museum and Walt Disney Concert Hall — it’s worth it!

What makes LA such an amazing place?

"Los Angeles has THE best weather. It also has several microclimates within reasonable driving distance. Whether you like sunny beaches, snowy mountains, or desert heat — Los Angeles has it all. It’s also a hub for creativity and the land of opportunity. You can truly do and be anything you want to be in Los Angeles — even if just while on vacation."

When is the best time to go?

"There’s never really a bad time to visit Los Angeles — mostly because the weather is consistent. Nothing beats a Los Angeles summer though!"

What are your favorite things to do?

"Rooftop restaurants, pool parties, beach days, morning hikes — those are just a few of my favorite L.A. summer activities. I also really enjoy museums, specifically The Broad and LACMA."

What advice would you give to someone visiting LA?
