The Albus Hotel is centrally located in Amsterdam, with a tram stop approximately a two-minute walk away, making it convenient for exploring the city. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and provided ample room for our stay. Some aspects of the apartment could benefit from updates, although everything was functional. The room was stocked with coffee, and tea was provided promptly upon request. The apartment had its own entrance from the street which made it feel like staying in a rental property. Hotel staff were friendly and responsive throughout our stay. The property is relatively small, with a compact restaurant and bar area. Guests should note that access to the apartment involved very steep and narrow stairs. This may be challenging for travellers with mobility limitations or those carrying large or heavy luggage. Overall, the hotel offers a central location, spacious apartment accommodations, and attentive service.

Great place to stay in Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the room was clean and very comfortable and quiet. We were in a Junior Suite on the top floor. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly but there a couple of issues: - The phone in our room did not work. We complained twice but nothing was done. - At the end of the stay we were double-charged, as we had already prepaid. The staff on reception reversed this, but the following day we were charged again! This was sorted out by email.
