I was not familiar with Copenhagen at all when I had to choose a hotel for our visit. I wanted some comfort but didn't have an unlimited budget. CPH is an expensive city so be prepared. That said, Hotel Hans starts your day with a great breakfast buffet, It was included with our reservation. The decor is perfectly Danish, relaxing and comfortable. At 5pm it's time for wine in the lobby. A nice place to hang out and you'll also have a nightcap at 10pm. The room is comfortable although the lighting is a bit dim in the evening. The room is spacious enough for two to move around and the bed was a dreamy end to the day. On top of that the staff are the best. Always helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop to the center of town nearby, but you can also walk. The location is located near to many areas although there isn't much in the immediate area. The best bagels in town are a short walk away. I would stay here again now that I know the city and how to get around.

We stayed for three nights in the Luxury Room (404). The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent — just outside the busy centre but within easy walking distance. The main disappointment was the room size. It felt very small for a “Luxury” room, with nowhere to store our suitcases and limited space generally. We also questioned whether the advertised square footage was accurate. The oversized bedside lamps left little usable space, and there was no conditioner or milk provided. Our room overlooked the courtyard, which was also a privacy concern due to the bathroom window having only a net curtain. More importantly, it was very noisy from around 6–6:30am each morning, with banging, bins being emptied and general activity. We didn’t have breakfast but did enjoy a drink at the quiet bar. Despite a heavy metal festival taking place nearby, noise from the bar opposite wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel in a great location, but the room size, privacy and early-morning noise were disappointing, particularly for a Luxury Room

The staff brought us an extra chair to the room, so we could both sit without lounging on the bed. The service for morning coffee and breakfast was fast and delicious.
