I’ve stayed here more than 50 times over the years, often with my family, and have always considered this a place I could count on. That’s why it’s especially disappointing to say that this was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had here. The refrigerator in our room was broken, so I went to the front desk to ask if we could switch rooms. I was told there were no other rooms available, despite the parking lot appearing to be practically empty. It actually took three separate trips to the front desk before someone finally moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the new room wasn’t much better. It was still dirty, including fingernail clippings on the floor. We also had to get a replacement coffee maker because the one in the room had old coffee left sitting in it, apparently for a very long time. These are basic cleanliness and maintenance issues that simply shouldn’t be happening. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Instead of feeling welcomed or having someone genuinely try to resolve the problems, we felt like we were an inconvenience. After being loyal guests for years this was incredibly disappointing. We were so unhappy with the experience that we ultimately left a full day early because we simply didn’t want to stay there anymore. I understand that things can occasionally go wrong at a hotel. What’s difficult to accept is having multiple problems, having to repeatedly go to the front desk and treated so poorly
