4-star prices with 2-star finishes. Poorly designed rooms, for example: -unsanitary towel rack and hook locations directly above and to side of the toilet (so your towel hanging would be inches from the seat) - alarm clocks with bright blue display screens that are inconvenient to unplug/shut off, and in both our rooms, the alarms went off at 6am (housekeeping should ensure those are turned off when cleaning). - shower drain plug didnt stay open - sink drain was clogged - really cheap finishes that don't appear to be well thought - even basic amenities for hotels like a microwave in the room or filtered water at the end of each hall were not at this hotel (just one shared microwave at end of hallway, and you have to go down to the first floor to refill your water bottle). Also the filtered water didn't taste fresh. - location is good and restaurant is decent.

The check in experience was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Walked us through some additional options which we elected to take. In the hotel is a charming little bar. Perfect for us to relax at.
