This is a beautiful hotel. The location is great within walking distance to some of the major attractions. I booked this hotel because of the restaurant and the location. When we arrived at the hotel, I asked about the rooftop bar and the restaurant and the front desk told me that they would check to see if there was even a reservation available… That to me was a bit frustrating since I’m spending a lot to stay at this hotel. We were able to get an early reservation at the rooftop bar and when we arrived, no one was there, but we were given a very poor location. I really had to push a little to get a good spot to have a good view of the sunset. I was told that a lot of places book early for this rooftop bar and restaurant. I would think they would give priority to their hotel guests that was not the case. The next night we had a reservation at the restaurant that we had booked in person and was told we would have one table, but then was given another table in the back when I once again mentioned, that’s not what we were told by Laura in the afternoon the day before they give us a little better spot but again was told that a lot of concierge book this restaurant and location for their guests. I guess my Main recommendation would be if you were staying at this hotel to make sure if you wanna enjoy these beautiful amenities, the rooftop bar and the restaurant. Make sure you book your reservations well in advance. Both gentlemen that work the entrance were the best. Front desk 🙁

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

I wish I could give this hotel 6 stars. The hotel itself was beautiful and right on the beach. It’s family friendly but also enjoyable for young adults on vacation. The location is right outside of the heart of Sorrento which they offer a free ten minute shuttle to and from with multiple times available. We booked multiple tours with them which was so convenient not having to worry about anything. The receptionist Claudia was outstanding as well as all of the staff being so friendly. I rarely write reviews but this hotel is extraordinary. We will definitely be back!

We had a such a lovely stay as Hotel Caravita. The location is absolutelyb perfect. Right in the heart of Rome.Our room was confortable and clean and the hotel has a lovely boutique feel. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. Wev had a wonderful time in Romeand hotel Caravita was the perfectfor our trip.

Villa Agrippina was a beautiful start to our time in Italy! The property is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Rome, with gorgeous grounds, a fantastic location, and incredibly attentive staff. Close to everything yet tucked away from the crowds—it was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Rome.

Great place to stay! Very clean, cultural in design, helpful staff, and nice breakfast in the morning (10 euros each person per day). The only down side I would say is that you cannot bring outside food or drink because they would have to separate everything out for disposal- from my understanding. It is a bit of a walk to the center plaza, but well worth the views!
