Weekend getaways in Palawan

I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. To be isolated in a lagoon next to an island with no degree of infrastructure, caused us some level of uncertainty. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is meticulously clean. It is very quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Airport transportation was smooth and arranged by the hotel staff. Port is 5 min walk away to hire a boat to go to magical islands within 20-30 minutes for snorkeling, swimming or seeing the rock formation and amazing nature. We would be repeating our visit here!

The location is perfect . Walkable to the downtown area. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. They cater to all your needs from the moment you wake up . They arranged all our excursions , hotel pick up, spa & massage . It’s a real vacation not to think of anything & just relax. Thank you May, April & Erol for making our stay wonderful

Everything was perfect at this resort. The whole staff was so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. All of them had gone above and beyond making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. When we had an issue with our toilet, they came and fixed it right away and apologized profusely. We stayed in a family suite which had two full size beds and three twin size beds. Clean white sheets. Property was well maintained. The rooftop can use some help. If could be a nice outside area to relax in. The best part of this stay was the staff. They were super positive and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. They also had great suggestions for other areas within Elnido to visit, hailed tuktuks for us and arranged transportation. They have a free shuttle to/from Elnido airport. The...

Absolutely beautiful location. Beautiful rooms and facilities. The biggest disappointment was the standard of food. For the price it would make sense to make it all inclusive .

I & my wife really had an amazing time at Buko Beach. We visited this July 2023, and the receptionist Arlyn was so kind and nice. She was able to book us Island hopping tour trip and other activities. We really enjoyed our time there. It was superb. Overall the hotel workers treated us so kindly and with a warm smile all the time. Worthy visiting.

The hotel was conveniently located two blocks from the beach with a roof-top bar that overlooks the bay. The staff was over-the-top accommodating, food was great and 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. TV was modern with streaming, internet was reliable. The room was comfortable and clean. Downsides, coffee maker in the room didn't work (but in all fairness we forgot to mention it), bed wasn't super comfortable, rooftop bar wifi disconnects you hourly, and parking was scarce but they valet for you if...

We found paradise here. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Place was exceptionally clean and the views are picturesque. I could have just sat out at the balcony overlooking the bay for days. At night it has a Lake Cuomo feel. Very serene, just like the name says. Serenity

Be prepared for “roughing it” to a degree. No a/c, cold water shower, but magical surroundings in spectacular setting, All meals provided. Happy atmosphere and happy guests there to experience the raw beauty. Monkeys in the trees add something extra to enjoy

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Seriously that best service I've had. We booked the beach front room and it has the most beautiful views. The place is seriously breath taking with clear blue waters and limestone cliffs. Breakfast is complimentary and of course I ordered the Filipino breakfast every morning we were there. We had an amazing stay in Sunz. The staff were always greeting us and always ready to help if in need. They are always accomodating. They were very helpful in finding us the tours. So glad none of our time were wasted in Coron as we had our days filled with tours! We stayed in the room just right in front of the pool where we can just dive in any time. The only downfall is their pricey food. But its ok, because they have a free tricycle service that took us to Coron town restaurants for a...
