"Kyoto is a big city, so lot of walking if not by the station. the bus was very useful. maybe if there was a rental bicycle at hotel I would definately use it. hotel was fine and will use it again. "

"Great place. Modern, clean, shower has good pressure, really hot water. Fridge gets stocked with water. Restaurant has the best burger I've had in my life - wagyu beef. Checkin is a bit weird, but not an issue."

"Rooms are clean, functional with modern furnishing. It is not very spacious (22 & 26 sq m) especially the triple sharing but this is expected. We like chilling at the lobby lounge with a cup of cuppa or hot cocoa before heading out in the morning. The airport bus limousine is just opposite the hotel, which is a lot more pleasant to ride on vs lugging the luggages to the train station especially this is Golden Week!"

"The staff was wonderful. At first i was hesitant for an upgraded room by front desk but took it and the view was stunning and did not disappoint of the Eastern part of town as well the Kamo River. The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station. "Great location but will request room closer to the elevator as we always seem to be assigned the last room at the end of the hall, which is quite a distance to walk with suitcases. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay."
