Fabulous location was the best aspect of this hotel. There is NO early check in even if room is ready. Across the road from a mall of beautiful restaurants notably the yakitori one, arrive early no later than 6:30pm for seating as no bookings. ALSO find the AEON MALL in the next street alongside the hotel for great shopping and restaurants. Train station including Shinkansen also comes in here. Rooms a bit older style and dated, but quite large so would stay again. Shiatsu massage and foot massage fantastic and also located in the complex on the outer part of the mall just across the road. $30 for 30 mins and superb! Book in the morning as often a long wait if not. Cash only.

So close to everything yet so quiet. Best little cafe downstairs, restaurants and nearby shopping malls, Shibuya crossing, station etc. park view room was an oasis in the city. I did read the fine print after we left that said we were supposed to get breakfast (my fault but wasn’t mentioned on arrival so check your booking)

This is a large but very well run hotel close to the Railway Station in Kyoto. It has rooms of a good size with excellent facilities and very good dining options.

The hotel is a little bit dated but we enjoyed our stay. Efficient check in and reception kept our luggage safe as we arrived too early for check in. Very convenient by the station which has a lot of shopping and food options. We enjoyed our stay and were surprised of how quiet the hotel was given its location.

This hotel is directly across from the railroad terminal. We were able to catch our bullet train and subway and trains here. Just one block away is a mall with lots of shops and dining options. There is a beautiful temple with a five level pagoda within walking distance. Great location! One negative is that there are no small food items available in the hotel – just sit down dining options.
