"The staff are professional & friendly. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more extensive (a few more fruit choices would have been nice). But this is a very minor quibble. The beds are comfortable. The room was fine if a bit cramped. The property overall is beautiful and you can't beat the location."

"The location of the hotel was very convenient. 2 in walk from Sao Bento train station. Convenient for uptown or downtown excursions. It was frustrating that in order to get a balcony I had to get a Jr suite - this Jr suite was not eligible for upgrade since it was the best. The rooms and bed was comfortable and clean. The chairs and couch in front room were rigid and uncomfortable. Staff at front were uninviting. The bar was rarely staffed with anyone that knew how to mix a drink. "

"10 minute walk from Trinidad Metro (direct from airport) plenty of dining options Small dark rooms (rooms need more lighting) traffic and pedestrian noise from street disturbed our sleep "

"2nd time here - beds still as hard as previous so star still deducted. Could do with moving on the street sleepers , bit off putting on the walk up but didnt bother u either. Great choice for breakfast and staff friendly n welcoming, èspecially those in breakfast room.. Recommend"

"First impression: the hotel is very plain and simple. However, the place grew on us (over our 5 night stay). Although the hotel is very sparse, it did have everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t take their breakfast option but found a wonderful cafe around the corner. Plus the hotel is close to a self-laundromat. It was an easy downhill walk to the historic district and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. "
