10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 18 reviews
"Ann Marie was a wonderful host and we were able to communicate easily through google translate. The VRBO was well situated - close to city center - and had everything our group desired. The beds were comfortable and the linens had that wonderful “just dried on the line” fresh small. Our only difficulty was with the stairs. They are steep, winding. and narrow. We knew about them ahead of time and just reframed them as part of the history of the space."

Charming studio 2 minutes from the Arena
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 33 reviews
"This lovely studio apartment was exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed. On arrival, I was greeted warmly by Catherine and Francois, who helped me get oriented, handed me a welcome gift, and left me blissfully on my own. They remained available my entire visit to follow up on any questions I had, or to advise on what to see (and the best way to do it). First rate hosts, first rate location in heart of the old city, minutes walk to major features, and access to just wander the city at...

Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre
3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 335 reviews
"We stayed in “The Belvedere” 74 steps up and above the top floor. The view and the space are worth the climb. The room is simple, tasteful , and spacious. The spiral stair between the main room is a bit challenging at night but the feeling of the exposed wood and stone give a nice “Old World” feeling."

"Really lovely place with beautiful views of roman monuments. The only complication is that you cannot drive to the hotel as it is in the historic center - however follow the instructions you get in their email upon reservation - just for the drop off and pickup of luggage the very helpful hotel staff makes that possible! They also offer a great deal on city parking! "

"To get to the property we had to phone the hotel so they could raise the impediment in the middle of the road to get in. Once in, we were guided to the property by the front desk thru a series of very narrow roads - which i did not like."
