Well, NYC was wild. We were there during the Pride Parade which surrounds the location of this hotel. Interesting and wild. The location offered us easy access to the train, restaurants and anything else we wanted to do.
The hotel is under renovation right now. The elevators are a bit weird, as they sometimes don't come when called, or move in the wrong direction. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Would be 5/5 if hotel notified me of renovations in advance and fixed the elevator situation.
This hotel is reasonably priced and in a good location. The room was quite basic but very clean with good maid service. Could stay only 1 night, but I will return. This is a straightforward mid-market hotel, with a great location in midtown Manhattan and simple value-for-money rooms and facilities. Almost everything is walkable and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the neihborhood.
This is a great hotel, well placed for metro station, Central Park and has loads of restraunts near by. Hotel staff are polite and I had to get my room changed they did this with no objections.
It is across the street from The Natural History Museum. Short walk to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, across the center of Central Park. Drop off laundry service and many restaurants within two blocks. Small grocery and pharmacy around the corner. Subway stop also around the corner. So...conveniently ...
Enjoyed our stay especially as the Waldorf Astoria is closing
