Enjoyed our stay especially as the Waldorf Astoria is closing
Loved the location, the room, and the amenities of this hotel. Bathrooms are amazing too! Brandon, the head butler, was the best and so professional and knowledgeable too! Would definitely stay there again.
It's a nice hotel in a great location. I just wanted to mention a few things though. The air con is on so high in the communal areas that it's freezing when you're waiting for a lift. And the wi-fi wasn't completely reliable. I was also surprised there was some building work going on in and around ...
My second stay in the same room. Although the house was full, it was always quiet and I never had to wait to use the shared bath. My only regret was that again my travel schedule meant I had to miss the hostess Debbie's famed Friday jazz night and fish fry! I will be sure to stay on a Friday next ...
This was our third trip to New York and having previously stayed in Midtown( 34th and 48th streets) this time we chose a base we hoped would be a little quieter. We were right to choose The Beacon,it was just the right fit..If you take the 1 train at the subway station at 72nd street(a few minutes ...
I've stayed here a couple times since it's affordable (for NYC) and centrally located. The conditions of the rooms need to be upgraded with new paint (paint is peeling), new carpet, tile/grout), chips in showers. This time, I experienced a water leak that flooded the bathroom floor (water was leaking ...
I was initially skeptical about staying at The Roosevelt as I had heard some negative things about this hotel such as rude staff, long waits for checkin, cold water and frequent queuing for the elevators. However, when staying here none of these things were true for me. Both my checkin and checkout ...
This is an Amazing hotel to stay at as it is central to everything around you. It doesn't have a small shop and the restaurant is not open all night. Needs to be updated throughout. Overall we had a great time.
From check-in to check-out we couldn't have had a better experience. The staff go out of their way to accommodate guests and the room (Junior King Suite) was posh and lovely.
Great location, extremely clean, great staff My only complaint was the breakfast in their cafe. Food a little cold, forgot to bring syrup for pancakes, spoon for coffee and waited a long time for check Other than that it was perfect!!!
