Great experience.

Better than expected. It was romantic and cozy. Everyone from the staff were preoccupied in making us have a wonderful time there. The room was big, The private pool very convenient.

Disappointing...

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Excellent room, great food and nice location. Unfortunately, they are not transparent about their policy on children. Our first morning we were sat next to someone with a baby at breakfast. When I asked I was told it was a "special situation". This is not very honest in terms of the website claims and the big sign at the front entrance that says "no children below age 16 allowed". Apparently they have owned villas and those people can bring anyone they like. The lack of a proper gym, the inconsistent service (a bit of a joke with my wife that every second room order had something forgotten) and really just one restaurant is not offset by the positives. We will not be back nor recommend given the price.

Pavilions in Thailand

Posted Dec 20, 2013
Pros: The staff !!!
Cons: Hotel sits on a hillside - recommend using the "buggy" to get around
Location: Just north of Kamala Beach area, beach, shopping, went to Phi Phi on a speed boat, Elephant trek was great.
We enjoyed a wonderful pre Holiday stay in the Pavilions. From the moment we entered the front gate (we arrived after dark) until we left with all the front desk staff waving good bye, we truly enjoyed the experience. We stayed in a pool villa overlooking the ocean and the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We had one of the AC units stop working and someone was there to fix it within 5 minutes. Food was marvelous and the staff is extremely attentive. Would certainly recommend and return.

Fantastic romance destination!

Pros: Own Private Pool
Cons: No gym, not that it bothered us at all but maybe a few minutes in a gym may have been nice
Location: Out of the hustle and bustle of Patong (it's about a 45 min drive). Which is a good thing.
Wow - Wow is one of the words that sum up this place! We were here for 5 nights in a Pool & Spa Penthouse for our honeymoon. It was massive, bigger than my small 3 bedroom house I live in. Staff were great, smiles all round. Good choice of restaurants at the Pavilions to choose from. Food was cooked to perfection. We dined mainly on Thai dishes - so many great flavors! It was sad to leave. Would love to come back one day, (if we save up enough pennys).

Work was so far away...

Pros: Great food. Private and relaxed.
Cons: If dining at the 360 restaurant, take the insect repellent.
Location: In the hills above Bang Tao beach. Views to the hills or to the Andaman sea depending on where you are in the resort.
A wonderful place to stay if you want to enjoy Phuket without the hullabaloo of Patong or Kata. You can explore the surrounds - especially the beautiful Bang Tao with beachside dining and even a Reggae bar - or just stay in your villa, enjoying the private pool and in-room dining. The breakfast is fantastic. Continental buffet including pastries, cereals, soups and fruit, plus an a la carte menu - french toast, eggs however you like them, smoked salmon, the list goes on - with a feature smoothie each day. The three restaurants offer a range of traditional Thai meals, but also give the option of comfort foods like burgers and fries with amazing Belgian chocolate icecream to finish off. Staff are friendly and responsive. They can arrange day tours, spa treatments, beach transport or even a rental car. The perfect destination if you work too much and just want to unwind.

Honeymooners

Posted Oct 1, 2012
Pros: Our room, the spa and pool pavilion
Cons: 360 lounge
Location: the location is remote but that's what you go there for. If you want nightlife, stay in Patong or pay the $25 (one-way) for a cab.
What an amazing place to spend a honeymoon in Phuket! The staff was top notch, the service was amazing, but the room was far and away the best part. Total privacy. We're not ones to stay on a resort all day but we ended up spending a lot of time lounging and relaxing on our patio and pool when we weren't taking tours around the islands. Breakfast had enough options. Room service was good. Caution: don't eat any eggs not completely cooked in all of Phuket. Location is more remote but if you want privacy in Phuket, that's were you'll need to be. The 360 lounge was so-so. Overall, a great place.

This place is AMAZING!!! It has it's own private beach, the staff is accommodating, the villa was insanely beautiful, and the daily complimentary breakfast was delicious.

iPhone got stolen in the villa. Not safe.

Posted Jun 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Bad, handphone was stolen from the hotel while we are out. The hotel suspected we lost it outside while we are out. But the problem is we didnt even bring the phone out. Moreover, there were two power failure for the two nights stay. The longest is more than 1.5hours. So dark and no air-condition for 1.5hrs in a villa. How would you feel???
