"This is a very unique and classy property. It is in the process of renovation, but this was not bothersome at all. I just wish I could return and stay here when it is completed. I highly recommend this hotel!! "

"The Lakefront Anchorage is situated conveniently close to the airport and downtown Anchorage. The hotel has lots of old world charm with modern amenities. The thing that surprised me the most was that the hotel is huge, like really big. I'm pretty sure that the walk from the registration counter to our room was a 1/4 mile. The staff were friendly but understaffed for the number of customers this hotel serves. Would I stay here again, maybe, maybe not."

"Trepidatious at first, looks like the kind of place that could go very wrong, but everything was very clean and comfortable. Good pillows even, which is something places 4 times as costly haven't been able to figure out. Even the toilet paper wasn't the cheapest available stuff you would expect. Room is small but adequate. Only problem was it was very hot in there, but that was addressed immediately. Didn't use the communal kitchen, but looked clean and functional enough even if the refigerizer was predictably stuffed full. The area isn't the greatest, but that's true of anywhere hotels might be in Anchorage. This is a fantastic value all told. "
