"My partner and I stayed here for a month and got to know the area well. It is SO peaceful and beautiful. The unit's private porch overlooks the cutest little canal - you're basically about 20' away - with ducks and turtles and a fountain, and the most beautiful trees that sway in the wind. When you lie in bed at the end of the day and the afternoon light filters through the branches outside the window and you hear all the birdsong, well, it is glorious. After a whole day in the hustle and bustle...

"Our stay at the Mushroom House was a highlight of our trip. The house is beautiful and unique. We discovered new facets throughout our time there, including the one-of-a-kind kitchen drawers and the bookcase door. David was friendly and responsive. We loved the view from the deck and the easy walk into town. We hope to return to Bolinas soon!"

"The apartment is very nice and clean with lots of storage and closet space. It is charming and unique. Although we didn’t spend any time in the outdoor area, it was nice to look at from the room. We easily got on the street parking across from the rental, which was a big plus. The surrounding blocks don’t offer much in the way of shops or restaurants or coffee places, but Uber is readily available."
