Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: It is just dirty. With a little bit of TLC, the place could be good. Trash everywhere, worn rugs, etc. Has potential but needs refreshing.
Worn is one thing but dirty is something else. Has potential but needs lots of refreshing and TLC.

Worst Place I have ever stayedPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Nothing but seeing it in the rear view mirror when we were leaving.
Cons: A major remodel or torn down and rebuilt.
Location: The Island in it's self is great. Lots things to do, beach, Sea Turtle Rescue etc...
Wanted a short getaway and this was the only place that had a room when we booked. That should have told me something. Its nasty and the hotel staff could care less. The room was a "suite" with dirty everything. The drawers had trash and food crumbs in them, the bathroom tub would not drain, refrigerator had mildew on it. I know I was in a high humidity area but this had been growing for a while. There was grease and food caked on the stove and the microwave was rusted and the paint was peeling off. Light switch covers were nasty and didn't look like they had been cleaned ever. There was paint chipping off the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom was also falling off. The shower head didn't work and there were holes in the tile in the bathroom. I don't even see how they can operate with the shape this place is in. Our first and only night people were running up and down the halls screaming and out in the pool they basically having a party and being loud, well into the night and long after the pool "closed". After sleeping with one eye opened we got up and left for the beach. Upon coming back late that afternoon we thought the room would be cleaned and surprise they came in and straightened the covers on the bed if you can even call it straightening and that was it. They didn't take the trash out, vacuum, clean the bathrooms etc.. We found a room at the Holiday Inn that opened up and left as fast as we could. The staff didn't even ask why we’re leaving 3 days early.

Close to beach but at a price.Posted Jun 4, 2015
Cons: Customer service and when a customer has a need it should be addressed immediately and thoroughly.
Location: There is a beach across the street and a restaurant down the street. New shops will be opening soon.
The hotel is across the street from the beach. That means no beach views. Upon checking in to this older, and I mean older, hotel, the room was obviously aged with a slight musty odor. He room had a nice 1 bedroom with kitchen and sitting are layout. The down side. There was only one TV and it was in the sitting room and not viewable while in bed. There were a lot of toenail clippings in sitting room and a feminine article, hence the room smell, in the trash from the last renter. After two attempts at cleaning by the staff, the trash was emptied and there were still toenails on the floor. No attempts to reconcile with us was made by management. Not even a free hour on their bicycles while they cleaned our room. For the price, the room was adequate and the pool and location were awesome. Be prepared to clean your room upon arrival and all else will be fine.

Great stop over on the way to the KeysPosted May 23, 2015
Pros: The bedding, on-site laundry, friendly staff and a short walk to a beautiful beach (just cross the road).
Location: The beach and restaurants.
We had been on the road for 15 hours and wanted a break from the road with peace and quiet. Jekyll island is just a hop off Route 95 but quiet and out of the way. Very comfortable bedding and the location was peaceful.

Cheap place a short walk to the beach.Posted May 22, 2015
We liked being so close to the beach. The weather was great. We were walking distance to shopping, food, bike rental, and beach. There were surprisingly few people on the beach despite 90 degree weather.

Shower was dirty, carpet needed cleaning. Pet friendly suite so it smelled like the last four legged friend who stayed there
