Very clean Hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The back porch was a nice feature.
Location: The location was OK. It was easy access to the main road and to everything. There are several restaurants on the main road.
We stayed in one of the rooms on the newest building. The room had a porch in the back which made the room seem bigger. The room was very clean. We stayed one night. It was peaceful. The front desk associates were really nice. There was a restaurant adjacent the property and they served breakfast.

Satified customer

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Cons: I feel the updating could be done like the bathroom. It felt outdated.
Location: There isn't much to do in the area but there are bikes you can rent and the trails are wonderful and a great way to get the family out.
First time staying in this establishment. The beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness of the room was very spot on. I would highly recommend this place for future guests.

2 night stay at Central Motel

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Well, I'm sure they will work on remodelling as needed as it is an older motel, but very quaint.
Location: It was in a great location for the wedding I attended at a nearby ranch.
For the price of $65 a night (without tax), I thought it was great. It is an older motel, but was clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and had an iron, ironing board and hair dryer when i requested these. My room had a nice refrigerator, TV with cable and coffee maker. They made my room up promptly each day and the staff at the desk, housekeeping, etc. were all very friendly and helpful. I found out the motel is privately owned, which I think is a plus. They also have a nice little restaurant next door (you can just walk over) and you get a 10% discount on food because you are staying at the motel. I had breakfast there and it was great. I also loved the pool. It is not heated, so was a bit chilly, but refreshing. I would definitely stay here again. They were working in the garden area when I was there, beginning to get it ready for Spring/Summer.

National Chain amenities w/ mom-n-pop price

Posted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: This was a $99 room for $69, plus you couldn't be closer to historic downtown/city govt in Inverness, perfect location.
Location: Historic downtown, antiquing, restaurants, lake, many major US and state roads cross at or within 1 mile of this location
Priced much lower than the national chain hotels in the area, but room was just as nice. We stayed in the "new building" which was back away from the highway so it was very quiet. Very clean, well appointed room with extras like a desk, comfortable chairs, closet, operable sliding patio doors opening out to a nice wooded area. Room had a separate little kitchenette area rather than just a mini fridge w/ microwave stuck on top jammed into the main room, which was really nice because we usually travel with breakfast and lunch fixin's, dog food and bowls, etc. which can make for a jumbled room when everythign is all in the sleeping area. This was like a mini-suite. Of course, we didn't eat any of the food we brought because the on-site restaurant was FAB and very reasonably priced.

Nice motel close to town

Posted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The room were clean and smell nice
Cons: I think they could modernize the room a little such as flat screen TVs , black out curtins , little better furniture.
Location: I wish it was closer to downtown where you could walk to stores and food restaurants instead of driving.
This is a motel is for a quick stay and not long term such as a week. The rooms are very clean and smell very nice as you enter the room. The front desk ladies were very nice I will assist you with any thing you might need.

Cycling retreat

Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff
Cons: A hot tub for relaxing sore muscles after a long day of cycling
Location: As above
Absolutely fabulous location for cyclists with our room adjacent to the Withlacoochee trail (used for cycling, running, skating etc) . Nearby eateries and shopping. Parks and other activities nearby but a quiet retreat. Staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning again soon!
