Excellent refuge by Machupicchu ruinsPosted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Excellent staff, lovely rooms and delicious food.
Location: Perfect location right accross from Machupicchu
We spend a wonderful day at the Belmont prior to visiting Machupicchu. Located right accross the entrance. Excellent service, wonderful food, lovely gardens. Extremely convenient location. We went to visit Machupicchu early at opening time. We were the first ones to go in. At 9 am we went back to the hotel for a lovely breakfast and then back into Machupicchu.

Muy caro para un Lodge!Posted Feb 23, 2015 on Hotels.com
Lo bueno de este Hotel es la localización, definitivamente es extremadamente caro para lo que es. No vale lo que pagas pero si quieres dormir en Machu Picchu es la única opción.

After a long day at the Ruins this was perfect. Walked out the entrance and Hotel is right there. Hot tub over looks ruins, food was included and excellent, wait staff very attentive and our room was very comfortable. This was a treat to ourselves and well worth it.

Best location that you can stay at Machu PicchuPosted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. Staffs are super nice and attentive. They will even transport the luggage for you to and from the train station.
Location: Only thing to do in town - Machu Picchu
You cannot beat the location. You can go in and out of Machu Picchu and go to your hotel for a break/drinks. Get the all inclusive package if you like to eat and drink. You can also be the first one at the gate for the early morning sunrise without taking extra 30 minutes bus ride from the town.

I was traveling with a friend to visit Machu Picchu and we decided to stay at the Belmond Sanctuary hotel as it is the only hotel located next to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. For the cost, I did not think the hotel was worth the money and next time I visit Machu Picchu I will stay in Aguas Calientes.

The best hotel next to Machu PicchuPosted Jan 21, 2015
This hotel is amazing! You should reserve this hotel if you wanna enjoy Machu Picchu 100%!! The location is more than the best. It's just next to the entrance of Machu Picchu. So if you get tired or it starts raining, you can go back to the hotel anytime. The staffs are very friendly and hospitable. I miss all of them. They help you so well, if you need something. The food is very good. All meals are different. You can taste delicious Peruvian food.

Teeny room for a fortune next to Machu PicchuPosted Dec 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I do know the room measures less than 200 sq ft for the convenience of next to Machu picchu park. Be careful that not all rooms has patio that faces the courtyard n some mountain view. When we check in, the tiny room faces a wall for $1200 a night(all inclusive). They did move us to a room that has view. Breakfast n lunch R superb. Dinner entrees both our duck n filet mignon r so tough...presentation of food is beautiful. The staff is very nice especially in dining room. Part of reason we chose this hotel is to be at Machu Picchu at opening time of 6am to be totally alone. However discover the town bus arrives at 545am. Still not too many people. Overall though experience is nice, not worth the money n probably suggest staying in one of the other beautiful hotels in town n get up early to take a bus.
