"Property is first class. Grounds and the hotel are clean, modern, and well taken care of. Friendly, fast check-in when I arrived. More than enough parking. Close to restaurants. Shopping center right behind the hotel for quick grabs if you forgot to bring anything. "

"Beautiful property and our room was just as described. Loved the back balcony off of our room with rocking chairs to enjoy the evening. Highly recommend visiting the Library bar in Mansion restaurant for enjoyable cocktails and exceptional service. Can’t wait to visit again."

Over the past 30 years Danville has gone from being a vibrant city into a Detroit like condition. My hope is that my hometown will soon become a vibrant city again. "

"We came to Danville for a quick night getaway for my bf’s birthday and The Bee did NOT disappoint!! I personally love a boutique hotel and this one was AMAZING! I had originally booked the king deluxe room and decided before arriving thag I wanted to upgrade it to the suite. When I called, I inquired about any discounts (first responder, medical, or educator as we both work in medicine/education) and they provided the cost difference. I was prepared to pay the difference and after some challenges with the system in processing the upgrade (on the hotel’s) end, they gave us the upgrade complimentary! I was so surprised and excited because it was his birthday and it was the sweetest surprise! The staff was incredibly kind when we checked in and both our dinner reservation (The Schoolfield Restaurant) and night out (Casino) were within 2 miles of the hotel. The room was literally a stocked apartment with everything needed (next time we’ll get a few groceries) and the crazy high ceiling in our room just added the urban hangout suite vibe of the room. It was clean, comfortable, and a whole vibe!! The Bee Hotel is definitely a fave of mine now and we will be looking forward to our next stay next time we are in Danville, Va. ☺️"
