Instead of neon signs and other flashing artificial lights, the sky might be lit up by the aurora borealis. The best time to see the Northern Lights from your rooms is during the fall and winter. "Good place to stay"
The hotel was clean, well cared for. The staff were friendly, helpful with directions and information. Close to downtown I could walk anywhere from here. My room was clean, and made up well. Front desk (Joanne) was great! I liked being able to walk everywhere I wanted to see. I was very appreciative of the shuttle between the airport and the hotel. I also appreciated being able to leave my suit case in a secure location at the hotel while I walked around between check out and the time I had to leave for the airport.

    "Northern downtown hotel"
The room we had included a kitchenette with 4 stove top burners and microwave. Also included a sofa and comfortable chair. We found this perfect for our needs as we do not like eating in restaurants all the time as we were on a 3 month car trip. This is in a far north town. People must realize that you do not have all the comforts of the big city, but honestly it was fine. We even gad AC and believe it or not the temp in Inuvik for the 3 days we were there was 28C.
