For party animals only

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: The pool was very nice.
This hotel seems to be a "regular" meeting ground for party goers. When we tried leaving our room, the door handle completely came off the door, so we had to relocate. The room available was absolutely disgusting and I had to asked if it had been cleaned. Relocated to yet another room which was decent, however there were wine splatter stains all over the bathroom door. Have to wonder how good a job the cleaning staff does? Continental breakfast consists of toast and watered down tang. Unless you don't mind the noise and a below standard room, spend a little more money and go somewhere else.

Gross, scary, everything broken

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: NOTHING!
Cons: Burn this place down and start over again. It's not worth making improvements (which is apparently what the owners have decided as well...)
Broken gates around the pool. Ceiling vent covers falling off and hanging so low I could hit my head on one of them (and see all the crap in the ceiling space...) Faucet drain plug missing. Disgusting/ripped carpet. Seriously stained bed spread with PATCHES! (Who the heck patches a nasty bed spread and thinks it is OK to charge for it's use?). Half-sized (square) pillows that were lumpy and smelled. When we entered the room it smelled like smoke (non-smoking room). Also, upon entering we found every electronic was unplugged including lights and even the small dented fridge. The freezer was half un-thawed and water was pooling on the floor. Sirens all night long and lots of sketchy-looking people hanging around the property. Around 1am a man came banging on our door saying he was going to kick the door in because we were in his room. I bluffed and told him I had a gun (which I really wish I did...). Breakfast was a few dry pastries and some fake OJ. Not even a piece of fruit or some hot cocoa for the kids.

I feared for the life of my family.

Posted Jul 13, 2015
The room was nasty. We heard explicit language through the walls at all hours of the night. And in the morning you were awoken to the sound of a squeaky headboard banging against the wall. Oh, and the breakfast was nasty as well.

Not happy, hotel really needs to invest in cleaning up the hotel itself and the rooms

Do not book this hotel.

So awful we didn't stay. They refused a refund. It was not a safe environment for our family in any way shape or form.

Looks can Be Deceiving

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The hotel needs serious updates as well as better cleaning of the rooms.
Location: It is close to Discovery Kingdom a Six Flags Park.
We reserved this hotel based on photos on the Expedia site. The hotel looked great via the internet, however when we got to it, it was not anything like the photos. The first room we were put in was dingy, dark and the bed was dirty as well as the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk and asked for another room. They were really nice and put us in a different room. The second room was a little better, but still not upto the hype on Expedia's website. We chose to go to a different hotel and did not stay there.

Nightmare

Posted Jun 30, 2015
I think the fact (the hotel) to be in a poor area does not obligue to be dirty or abandoned. Bad deal. Long time ago I did not see a spider and web in a building. If Frankestein comes to this place will be scared to death and will leave soon. Shame for Howard Jhonson.

Pros: HOTEL WAS LOCATED WITH EASY FREEWAY ACCESS.
Cons: CLEANING COULD BE INPROVED. ANOTHER MAID WOULD PROBALY HELP FOR CLEANING PROBLEM.
Location: FEW PLACES TO EAT IN AREA-HAD TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD. WE WERE DOING WINE TRAIN, BUT ALL MOTELS IN NAPA BOOKED DUE TO NASCAR EVENT.
STAFF WAS NICE. PARKING WAS GOOD. ROOM WAS AVERAGE-COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER-WAS TOLD HAD ONLY ONE MAID TO CLEAN 21 ROOMS. NASCAR WAS GOING ON-SO HOTEL WAS PACKED.
