Pros: the wedding we attended was lovely only went to the evening
Cons: beds reception manners rudeness queue in reception
Location: nice shopping centre restaurants we ate in were all good
beds hard receptionist questioned me regarding my bill on departure told her we had not had breakfast we only stayed the night room only and she wanted us to pay for two days breakfast? told her we only stayed one night and room only she insisted we had breakfast and questioned me repeatedly very rude I felt embarrassed as there was a queue at reception two other also complaining at reception desk whilst I was there spa refused to let children in pool at 11.00 even though there were no adults around and we insisted we went in with our grandchildren and she refused to give us towels rude again would only recommend this hotel 2/3 star not enough disabled parking had to walk a way to park car

Surprisingly brilliant.Posted Nov 2, 2014
What a great hotel! I wasn't expecting much, but was blown away by their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. I booked two rooms, one for my uncle who was visiting from the US and joining me on a trip to Normandy. Even he (as Americans are notorious Customer service experts), commented just how great it was. If I'm ever in the area, I would def stay again. Great touches - free wifi, paper, water and FRESH milk for drinks in room. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

This hotel offers a lot of activities; spa, training and pool. If you don´t want to dine in the hotel the pub just next to the hotel is great place.

Hotel staff and facilities were excellent. The only bad point was a the room was a little stuffy at night.

All you need from a hotelPosted Aug 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Comfortable. Dark room. Quiet. Well equipped. Friendly. Excellent value. I was really impressed from the warm and efficient welcome through to the spaciousness and quality of the modern well-equipped room, excellent bed, free water and fresh milk (yes! no horrible powdered creamer in my tea!) in the fridge, nice bathroom, trouser press, excellent shower, two flat screen TVs and very impressive spa and pool facilities. After a quiet, comfortable night in a nicely dark room (no annoying bright blue or red LEDs from TVs and bedside alarm radios that glare in your face! Hurrah!), an excellent value and tasty freshly cooked breakfast - lightly scrambled eggs served piping hot with fresh smoked salmon and toast that was actually very warm when it arrived at my table, not cold and soggy).. Very, very good value and with well trained, friendly staff. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in my experience it is rare indeed to get so many things absolutely spot-on, even for hotels and three times the price. I will definitely go back if I am in the area again and strongly recommend it to others.

Relaxed StayPosted Jul 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good balance between friendliness and staff efficiency. Our bedroom was more like a suite with a separate adjoining lounge area with a second TV and fridge --very much appreciated by my wife whilst the world cup was on ! We could eat from the restaurant menu in the bar area for a more relaxed and casual occaision and the 'south coast' platter of serve yourself seafood and cold meats etc was excellent value. The pub in the grounds was also a bonus --what more does one need!

Excellent stay,we were at a wedding which was supePosted May 8, 2014
Pros: The room and facilities were fantastic.
Cons: Reduce the price of your drinks, they are extortionate. Teach all the staff to smile.
Location: Close to Southampton and Portsmouth. 10 minutes drive from the sea.
The only drawback was the availability of the night staff to serve hotel guests after the reception had finished. Twice we called the night staff number, twice we were told someone we be along shortly, after 20 minutes waiting each time we had to locate a member of staff who eventually got someone to serve us, all a little to late as most of the group had given up and gone to bed.
