Pros: Employee's were very friendly! Friendliness goes all long way.
Cons: The room we were in on the 19th of Feb. needs some weather stripping around the door. I'm sure a lot of heat escapes.
Location: Have no idea. We just went to stay near the airport. Was a good choice.
Things went very well when we stayed on the 20th of February. When we came back from our vacation, we decided to stay at the Red Roof, again. Everything went good at check in. We were leaving to go to our room and we decided to get a beverage. The machine was out of everything but Diet Coke. No water, no Sprite, no regular Coke, that was disappointing. When we got to our room, we went in. The door didn't leak cold air like the last room that we had on the 19th. A bit of weather stripping goes along way. Other than that our room was nice for the price we paid. The motel was very hospitable and let us leave our car there. We called a taxi on the 20th to get to the airport, then called the taxi service to get back to our car. My husband and I were very tired, so we got a room. Thank goodness there was a room available.( it was after midnight when we left the airport) Thank you for having us! We will stay again in the future.

Older facility but the rooms have been updated. Close to freeway and restaurants. Helpful staff.

Best place to stay for GR airport.

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: I left my car for the week while on vacation at no charge!
Cons: It was what I expected for the price. The room was nice and clean and that's all I really needed for the night before I flew out.
Nothing fancy but the price was excellent and close to airport. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel for a Nice Price

Pros: Staff was friendly. Room was great!
My wife and I really enjoyed the stay at the Red Roof in Grand Rapids. The staff was friendly, the room was really clean and had no odor of cigarette smoke like some places do.

The only problem with the room was a poor sink design since Everytime I turned on the water it splashed all over me.

Better than expected

Posted Nov 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel what nicer than I expected from a Red Roof. The room was very modern, with wood (laminate) floors and clean new furnishings. A great sink too! But very much a small space - open door and boom. There is bed, and not much room to move around. Very clean, and the clerk was nice and had lots of delivery menus on hand. Best bed I have slept on in a while at a hotel - better than a number of the swankier places we have stayed. However - the major detraction was there was some sort of air fresher heavily applied to the room. It was nauseatingly thick. Even after day 2 it was still bothersome. Will likely stay again, but will call ahead and ask that the room spray or whatever it was not be used. It was nasty.

very close to the highway and airport

Cons: If a customer has too many needs maybe check the next person to see if their needs is a simply yes or no answer
It was nice and quiet. the front desk took too much time talking with another customer about personal life a bit too long but over all it was a very nice place. very impress with how clean it was and the size of the bed was very nice also. no complains here at all. My wife was very please with the hotel too.

Ya get what ya pay for

The room I was staying in didn't have great water pressure making it nearly impossible to take a shower
