Good location.

It's an old rundown Days Inn badly in need of remodeling. It's pet friendly so it smells bad. Not very clean, could never get our key cards to work. The staff were very friendly & it is a good location not far from the beach.

Hotel is very run-down and in need of updating. Air conditioner in room didn't work. Room stunk and was not very clean. Had to go to front desk two different times to get key cards to work. No towels in room upon arrival. TV had minimal channels and no remote control.

Great value / location for the price

Pros: The price was great, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the location was superb.
Cons: The facilities could use some renovating.
The hotel, while still under the signage of Days Inn, was a fairly decent experience. The side doors don't work (one doesn't lock at all and the other's card swipe mechanism is broken), and the elevator is pretty creaky. However, the hotel was clean, and so was our room in the middle of the second floor. We did have to ask for towels, but they gave us enough for the length of our stay (three nights), when I was expecting only two. Our room's faucet was leaking where it connected to the counter and also down below (pretty badly when the water was on full blast), so we just didn't turn it on very high. The shower was nice and hot, once you twisted it the right direction/amount. The beds were comfortable and we had a plethora of pillows. There was a large, flat screen TV with lots of channels. There weren't a *ton* of power outlets, so if a family stays here, they might have to share for phone charging or laptop use. Overall, it wasn't a five star hotel, and high maintenance people might not enjoy themselves, but if you need a nice, clean place to stay, this place was great for the price. The location also is pretty prime (about a two-minute drive on one road to get to the beach). Right off the main road in town that goes straight to the waterfront, the hotel is about 30 yards from a Walgreens, and across the road from a grocery story and strip mall with various small restaurants (we ate at a Mexican restaurant and a Subway there).

Decent hotel for price

Shower didn't work well, AC didn't work, asked for towels 4 times and never got them, didn't get maid service the entire time we stayed there. Nice pool and hot tub, over all decent stay for the price

The room

Room was OK. It was missing the refrigerator & microwave. I think they are renovating. The front of the Hotel was Days Inn & Suites.. The employees were SUPER.

Floors were filthy. Carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. Nasty toenail clippings on floor. Had to wait for towels to be washed and dried before we could have any. Door was jammed and had to be a muscle man to open and close it. Not enough staff!!
