"While the pictures of this listing look lovely, the real thing is better. We arrived for a family reunion weekend, over the Christmas holidays, and the home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The home had a well-furnished large kitchen, walk-in food pantry, walk-in butler’s pantry and large laundry room. Common areas provided lots of seating, both inside and outside. The bedrooms were huge, and had comfortable bedding and mattresses. The bathrooms had plenty of room and both had enclosed...

"Hirschbach Haus was everything we wanted for our friends and family bi-annual reunion. We found a cozy rustic farmhouse that has been lovingly up-dated without removing any of the original charm. Big king-size beds with wonderful linens. More towels in the bathrooms than we could use. Someone had fun with a labeling gun as almost everything was labeled. This made everything easy to find and operate. Tons of silverware, plates and glasses. There was even a Canadian coffee cup that was used daily...

"We were in town for a friends wedding. The property is close to conveniences but far enough away that you have a sense of peace. The home is super clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The A/C was awesome and a welcome relief from the heat. The ranch dogs were super friendly as well"

Cons: never received instructions on check in, reading septic system, dog food kept under kitchen cabinet (we had no pets), dog/ cat hair on couch and bunk bed, difficult to put out Murphy bed and need more kitchen towels (only had 2) and toilet I. Master bath clogged and no plunger,"

"We loved the little one room farm house as it was the perfect size for my husband and I. The location was just one block from 11th street bar and a couple of blocks from Main Street so that was great bc we were able to walk everywhere. My bigggest complaint was NO WIFI! We could not watch any TV in our down time nor could I log on from my computer or phone. It shows there is WiFi but the TV would just spin and spin “thinking mode” and would never go farther than that. It was say it couldn’t...
