"My wife and I stayed at the Eagle Street Retreat for 2 nights over the Total Eclipse weekend. Although the apartment was not ready a check-in time, the contact person with Heavenly Hosts apologized for the inconvenience and told us the cleaning crew was in their way. They arrived shortly after, also apologizing, but left some 45 minutes later leaving the unit spotless, which made my wife happy. And the manager refunded the cleaning fee. "We celebrated our anniversary with a quick trip to Fredericksburg. Our goal was to relax and rest, and that’s exactly what we did at Serengeti. After a day of exploring, the hot tub was the perfect place to unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we both got the best vacation sleep. We are already planning another trip! Five stars! Highly recommend!"
