"Great Service --- The "ethos" of the staff is warm"
I have been going to Venice since 1964.
I have stayed at hostels, the Londra Palace, Gritti, Danielli and Bauer and now -- Palladio --- service was the best here. The modern interpretation of garden designs with rabbit included; breakfast of cheese, meats, eggs, fruit pies, pastry, coffee --- the best. The views back to the Piazza San Marco and della Salute ---- the best in Venice ---100% reccomendation --- plus the art books in the lobby!

Very nice venue for holiday. A bit far from tourist center (St. Mark's Square), however during the day is hotel providing compliant boat shuttle (7,- EUR per full stay I would consider as compliant compare to the standard boat taxi prices in Venice).
Hotel was comfortable enough, stuff helpful and willing to help.
I would appoint 2 cons:
1. We arrived a bit late (I informed the hotel in advance) and even I'm a Hilton Honor member we got most probably the worst room they have (1st floor, windows oriented right to the backdoor of local restaurant. Only after my claim we got the upgrade, however next day only.
2. The breakfast in Executive lounge (recommended by receptionist as an advantage for me as a HH member) was really terrible. Poor choice of food, no vegetables, etc... Once we left this "offer" next day and joined standard breakfast, we realised the different universe - breakfast worth the Hilton standards :-)

Amazing apartment in a great location with a lovely view but a few things that are still needed to make it a 5* experience in our eyes - English speaking staff (the lady who checked us into the room really did struggle to communicate with us effectively - however the other 2 members of staff were very helpful), dressing gowns, a dressing table/mirror, a vanity mirror, an iron/ironing board in the rooms (only one to share amongst all the apartments and it wasn't available when we needed it), daily housekeeping service and 24 hour reception staff (only present between 9-4 and unable to fulfil simple request out of hours).

Easy access to to main sights of Venice by the free shuttle boat service. Excellent comfortable and clean facilities and continental breakfast/snacks, drinks all stocked for you to enjoy! The shuttle service was very frequent and ran on time to a set timetable making it easy to plan your time.

Excellent location on waters edge, easy access to water bus and all stops.
Excellent value for position but remember it is a b & b and therefore like someone's home. Perfect for our one night stay, friendly people and very comfortable bed. We had quadruple room and had views, not sure what views other rooms would have

Very nice hostel. Was in love with the decor. The staff was great. It was comfortable and I felt relaxed being here. Only downside was that it's on an island that requires use of the taxi boats which are €7 a trip or you can get the day passes. (Day passes are more cost efficient if you are staying here. Buy it as soon as you arrive if you plan to stay here). That's not really the hostels fault... just a tip. Also witnessed a very cranky woman make demands of the staff and they handled it well.

Fabulous location, couldn't be better placed to explore Venice and the Islands using the public water buses, including the night service.
We stayed in a twin room, en-suite which was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided and although the storage space is not huge, you must remember that this is a yacht after all and holdalls or small cases are advisable.
You are ensured a warm welcome from Nelli, the host, and the buffet breakfast is excellent with plenty to chose from, including cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese, meats, croissants, rolls, cakes, coffee, tea and toast!
Hotels in Venice don't usually have outdoor seating areas so being able to sit on the deck in the afternoon sunshine was just wonderful and so interesting watching the ocean liners and cruise ships pass by. Should I visit Venice again I will definitely stay on the yacht again.

Ten minutes by waterbus from Piazza San Marco, the quiet residential island of Giudecca, is the place to escape the crowds. The only monument of note is Palladio’s church Il Redentore, focus of a major festival in late July. The atmosphere is typically Venetian and there are a handful of restaurants.
