Our only glitch was access code to door did not work - casa was helpful but glad we arrived before dark. Leaves were everywhere which made walking to door tricky. No firewood for pit. "We had a delightful stay at this cottage in the woods, a peaceful, quiet and relaxing ambience with pretty walks at one’s doorstep. It was amazing how many amenities were fit into this compact space. Two double bedrooms, two full baths with tubs, a large kitchen with washer, dryer and a comfortable living area to sit and relax. The kitchen was well equipped such that we ate in as often as out. The comfortable beds made for a restful nights sleep. Everything in its place, it was perfect."

One thing to note - the cabin is not on a paved road and it can be a little tricky to go up the hill and into the driveway if you’re not accustomed to driving in the mountains. "We loved our stay at Rusty's place. He was such a great host and awesome to work with. The house has gorgeous views. There is a ladder off the deck if you want to bring your floats or swim. You also can just sit upstairs or downstairs at the lake and enjoy the view. Loved coffee in the morning overlooking the lake. GREAT lake access. It is also very convenient to LaPrade's marina which is fabulous for dinner. We will be back!"
