Second time staying at the Mayflower. Loved it both times. Only problem was being on the second floor. There was loud music playing directly below our room. It sounded like the band was in our room. It finally stopped around midnight. Will definitely stay again, but on an upper floor.
Wonderful service across the board! Mohammed, the concierge, helped me out tremendously on my departure!!! Have stayed in DC a lot and never even knew about this hotel. Plan to stay again often - great service, great accommodations, and great location!
If you love pets this is the place for you. I was on a business trip for the week and found this hotel as the best one in the area. Missing my pet from home and seeing dogs every day brought me back home. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great accommodation in everyway! My husband developed a bad cold and I went down to the restaurant area for tea for him 3 Times. The first 2 Times I was charged 2.35 for the tea. The third time the serving person said” that’s ok. Just take it!” That made a huge impression on us. Now that is what ...
This hotel is looking tired. Saved by a great location and neighbourhood. Too expensive for what's on offer.
Nice hotel, a bit old-fashioned, could use a minor update. Excellent staff responsive to all my needs and questions. Only real problem was when housekeeping did not clean my room one day. Those with mobility issues will have difficulty; there are stairs to deal with and grab bars are very much needed ...
We were escaping from hurricane Irma, we were treated like we were in home. Our room was upgraded and even they were sold out for one night, they figured out to let us stay that night. Thank you guys!!
We had a wonderful stay Beautiful room/ staff was excellent Walking distance to many D.C. Sites This is a boutique hotel in the city- so please keep in mind when booking (i.e.- would not think it would be great for children)

A total surprise. I had never heard of The Jefferson, and I was "trying it out." Good in every way (though I never tried the exercise room)..
I was in for a nice treat with this hotel. I loved the decor of the room. The room was clean and comfortable in every way. I was able to relax and enjoy. The staff was always professional and helpful.
