"This is our second time staying at the Hollywood Roosevelt, and, once again, we've had such a pleasant stay! This historic hotel is very well run preserving old Hollywood charm in the heart of a busy area of Los Angeles. Our room was on a quiet floor - very clean with a south facing view, daily housekeeping, room service, a large TV, clean bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Guests can enjoy the Tropicana Pool with single and double loungers and order delicious cocktails at the Tropicana Pool bar. If you enjoy a hotel with frills, and a nice place to relax on those hot days, this is the place for you! A couple of things that were not so enjoyable were the pool parties taking place during our stay that were NOT exclusive for hotel guests. Unfortunately, this took away from our experience a bit because it was hard to secure a lounger for the times we wanted to swim. Also, we were under the impression that because we were Expedia Gold members, we would have upgrades and added perks at the hotel, however the hotel staff had no idea what these upgrades and perks were and could not honour them. These were minor issues though - we will definitely return!"

"This property was amazing staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday and house keeping staff was very nice and considering. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant and bar area. Many people seemed to enjoy the social atmosphere in the restaurant. I love that they have free water machines to fill up your water bottles. There were no microwaves in the rooms but there was a Microwave located in the ice machine area; and let me tell you for a hotel floor to have to share a microwave that was one of the cleanest microwaves I ever seen. I also like the fact that there was a Courtesy letter from management on the dresser in the rooms informing guest that they are upgrading the areas in the hotel so please bear the noise. I didn’t hear and construction but thanks for making us aware. The only thing that was a little issue was the shuttle. There is no schedule so the shuttle just runs. The day we were leaving to go to our flight we came down stairs at about 7:10am and after standing outside for about 30mins the shuttle still did not arrive to take everyone to the airport for departure flights. Instead we called an Lyft that got there in 3mins and drop us off at the airport in less then 7 mins. I will definitely book again. Thanks!!!"
