Bring your own pillows, towels, plungerPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Location is good for travelling through Lubbock
Cons: Better support so front desk staff aren't so incapable of helping resolve issues.
Location: didn't need
I pre-booked several rooms in early August 2014 (on a Friday night). Most were fine, but one was missing 2 pillows (just pillow cases) and missing towels. The front desk couldn't help (no towels, no pillows). Then the drain backed up in the shower and they were similarly unable to help. For 4 people wanting to sleep comfortably in a room, it was not so great. I would have passed it off to a one-off experience, but of the 4 different folks I've spoken to (3 at the desk and one on the phone), no one has offered anything but a "sorry it was like that" kind of answer, so you are on your own if there are issues.

It was fine but not very clean. There were stains on the bed cover and the towels were dingey. There was food still on the floor from the previous tenant. The pillow cases were also stained. The refrigerator smelled of spoiled food. There was still trash in the trash can also from the previous tenant. This hotel was dirty

Don't plan on staying here again!Posted Jul 19, 2014
We booked this hotel under the assumption that they took pets, based on their website, as well as Expedia (I always double check just on case). Upon arrival we were informed that they didn't, but that they wouldn't charge us $150 since we showed them their website. It was no big deal, but I just wanted to inform future travelers. The rooms were gross. Spots all over the furniture and floor and the cleanliness in general was just not up to my preference. We had a non-smoking room, but it smelled terribly of smoke. The continental breakfast was terrible and the hard boiled eggs tasted like vinegar, which I know soaking them is a common thing to do, but I've never had my eggs taste the way these did. All in all I was very unimpressed and will not be staying here again.

It will do in a pinchPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The room was immaculate.
Cons: Patrol the parking lot, and do something to reduce the humidity in the common area.
The hotel common areas were shabby, but the room was current and spotlessly clean. It was a difficult hotel to access -- it is located on a one-way frontage road -- with no restaurants, etc. within a safe walking distance. The creepy thing was the overly friendly guy hanging out in the parking lot who tried to talk to me each time I accessed my car.

Beautiful hotelPosted Jun 12, 2014
Great hotel especially for the price. Hot tub not working and room cleanliness was an issue but I would definitely stay again
