“Great place to stay in Memphis”

Everything was excellent during our stay here. Especially wonderful was the transportation that the hotel provided for the guests. The drivers were informative and eager to please. They picked us up and drove us to most major attractions in an extremely timely manner. We were extremely impressed with this service.

“Stayed for a play”

Overall, very clean and nice, a few little things that most people would never notice needed attention. Staff was pleasant at all times. One thing that continues to bug me about sites and hotels alike if the parking fees are rarely mentioned. $15 a day self, $18 valet.

“Very impressed”

I had read some unfavorable reviews of this hotel prior to booking, so my expectations weren't too high, but I thought it was an extremely comfortable and welcoming place. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Compared to the price of other hotels in the downtown area it was a bargain. If I am ever in Memphis again I will choose this hotel with no hesitation.

“Nice Place to stay”

Liked it very much!!! Your best bet is to not rent a car if you plan on staying downtown area is to use the trolley. It's a 1 1/2 block walk to the trolley and it will take you to Beale Street or Mud Island or tot the riverboats. The other good thing is it is not in the middle of downtown so when you are wanting the quiet get away from it all you go to your room.

“Will definitely be back.”

Absolutely wonderful. The valet parked the car and unloaded our luggage. We checked in w/ithin 5 minutes. The free shuttle service to the spots that we want to go to was amazing. It was what make us choose Crowne Plaza. The scenic skyline view was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and took care of our every need. We will definitely be back

“Very happy with hotel”

The Crowne Plaza was recently renovated and you can tell. The loby and lounge area is very modern and clean. Food and service was very good also. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. They have a sleep relaxation gift bag in the room with a relaxation cd, aromatheropy spray, eye mask etc....flat screen tv. Room and hotel looks exactly like in the site. Was very happy and would stay again, would also recommend to others. Bathroom and linens very clean. Close to highway, easy to get to local attractions, trolly 1 block away. Pool very nice and clean.

“Very nice hotel”

Hotel was lovely. Room was very clean and staff were delightful. Couple of things though, there was only one restaurant/bar in the hotel, one closet size gift shop and no coffee shop. But overall, the hotel is very nice! Next time we will be closer to Beale Street!

“Memphis Trip”

We stayed two nights at the Crowne Plaza and loved it. From the moment we checked in until we checked out we were both blown away by the staff at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit Downtown Memphis. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from any downtown location. Some have complained about the shuttle service stopping at 11:00 p.m., but a cab ride is less then $10 from Beale Street to the Crowne Plaza. The gentleman who drove at night (Reginald) was top of the line. He was full of life and character. We both felt he actually cared that we had a great experience not only in Memphis, but also at his hotel. We did a lot of sight seeing and the staff was great in helping us with directions and recommendations as well. We felt the entire staff took pride in their job and treated us as they would want to be treated.

“Expectations Met!”

Our room was very comfortable ~ excellent beds & bedding. Expectations were met - nice furnishings, very comfortable, - staff was very couteous, kind, and attentive. Easy - no sweat.
