Don't want to leave.
This place is amazing absolutely gorgeous plenty of stuff to do. You can take the elevator to the top of the pyramid to look out over Memphis. awesome little stores in the inside of the pyramids from Uncle Buck's fish bowl and grill to the Bass pro shop all around good family environment to be in and very fun. Me and my wife come here for our 15-year wedding anniversary and loved it plan on coming back.

eh not so great
Overall, I wasn’t impressed by the lack of amenities and customer service at this hotel. The novelty of staying in a bass pro shop wore off quickly when we realized very little was available to us as guests. This hotel did a very poor job at setting expectations for us the guests before we checked in so we could know that xyz is closed and xyz is in transition. Ultimately we were VERY disappointed and we would recommend staying elsewhere for your trip to Memphis. The top of the pyramid was cool to experience but the restaurant and bar up there was closed. So if you’re in Memphis come check out the pyramid but maybe don’t stay here if you’re looking for a four star hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and large but there needs to be a hospitality make over.

We loved all the decorating touches in the entire lodge. The beds and linens were unbelievable ! They were super comfortable. Loved the balcony where we enjoyed our wine and could see the sights all around. Next time when we are traveling, we will make a point to stay again.

Great Family Getaway
The hotel is amazing. It’s like a village in the sky over the Bass Pro Shops. Beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the interior of the pyramid. Waterfalls and nature sounds. Soft lighting. Day and night blend together. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. Large jacuzzi tub and a separate shower that feels luxurious. Staff was very nice. A few notes: sound carries. A group of teenagers/ early 20s were noisy all night the first night we stayed. If I had known which room marked “Do Not Disturb” was there’s the next morning, I would have happily pounded on that door all day. Luckily they were not there the second night, so we had a better night. Also, it did not occur to me to bring insect repellent since we were indoors. My daughter got eaten alive by mosquitoes while sitting on the balcony. Duh, the place is full of ponds and water, I should have realized there would be bugs. Lots to do and it was really fun. They do put a $100 hold on your credit/debit card to cover any incidentals. You get it back if you don’t use it, but it was still an expense I didn’t plan on. Well worth the money (we paid half-price) and we will definitely do again if we get another good rate.
