Quick trip to Beale StreetPosted Apr 5, 2015
A quick overnight during the week. Other hotels were the same rate or higher, but this room was much larger and had a noon check out. Quick and easy valet parking. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. I think his name was Clayton. Roof top was a great place for fresh air and the view. Manager's cocktail hour and the warm breakfast made the stay even better. The walk to Beale Street down Main was a short distance. No need for a taxi or trolley.

The Resident Inn is centrally in downtown Memphis. It's an easy walk to excellent local restaurants, such as Flights, McGwen's, and many barbecue restaurants in the area. Beale Street's club scene is a walkable distance and there is a vareity of music and entertainment in the area.

Excellent locationPosted Jan 7, 2015
Good location with convenient parking next door. Rooms more like an apartment than a hotel room. Ideal if staying more than a couple of days.

Top Notch Service and Conveniently Located.Posted Jan 4, 2015
We loved our room with the small kitchenette. Olga at the front desk was kind and helpful. The valet service was quick, attentive, knowledgable and polite. Having coffee, tea or hot chocolate available in the lobby was a nice bonus in the cold weather. Conveniently located to all we wanted to experience.

Got drunk on Beale for my birthday, enjoyed the rooftop terrace for afternoon drinks beforehand. Good time.

Lovely period downtown hotelPosted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable and relaxing. The 1930's style was well maintained and was in character with the downtown area in which it was located.
Cons: Only thing I would say is add a kettle to make drinks.
Location: Everything accessible, easy to access transport to Gracelands. Sun studios is a must as is the Gibson guitar factory tour. Good restaurants close by.
Very nice hotel really well maintained and ideal facilities fully meeting our requirements. We had a delayed flight and our luggage was left in Chicago and the lady on the desk went that extra mile to help us supplying supplies for the next day. Good breakfeast buffet to start the day off. The room was spacious and had a good kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and small hob ideal for our requirements. Very good team of staff all freindly and helpful. Free Wifi really useful

Great location to for downtown and midtown sitesPosted Oct 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Very convenient to downtown restaurants and bars. I had activities in midtown and it was a short cab ride there as well. Very clean room. Front desk staff was excellent!
