Hotel convenient to Georgia State Prison in ReidsvPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The location was fine for the purpose.
Cons: Some basic maintenance and repair of the swimming pool.
Location: Not a lot to do near the interstate in Metter, but I wasn't really there long enough to explore all the possibilities.
I had to visit a prisoner for work. I was looking for something decent within a reasonable distance. The Days Inn was alright overall. The bathroom fixture had only one bulb of two working, so kind of dark. The pool that was supposed to be in operation appeared to have never been opened for the season, had a sign saying closed for maintenance, but had no appearance that anything was being done to fix it.

Old and simplePosted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Over all we had to put it a 3 out of 5 mainly, because we loved the staff and all the help there was, but the quality of the place was very out dated. When we saw the pictures we thought there was going to be a mini fridge in our room so we brought some food with us so we could eat healthy will on the road. The problem is that the place is slowly being updated so only some of the rooms have fridges in them. Therefor we had to move 2-3 times before they put us in a room with a mini fridge. Most of the time we don't really mind, but we had already bought the food. Pros: Staff, cleanliness, and the location was only 20 minutes from major towns, and only 1 hr from Savannah GA Cons: The hotel was old, but clean. It didn't have fridges in all the rooms. The shower was so high pressure that water would get on the floor. And the was no fan in the bathroom so be prepared to keep door open. O and even with the TV on you can hear the other person going to the restroom if your on the bed closest to bathroom.

conveineint locationPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: The check-in clerk and the other employees were very polite and helpful.
Cons: The decoration needs to be improved and each room should have a working refrigerator.
I pre-paid for two rooms, one had a refrigerator and the other did not. The rooms were in some level of a transition, it appears to they are making changes and the decoration of the hotel reflected changes being made. The carpets needed to be replaced. I would have liked to have saved the cost of the last day because it was Mother's day and we decided to leave early, but could not because it was not an option since it was prepaid through Expedia.

They try hard, but...Posted May 10, 2014
Days Inn is trying to upgrade, but haven't hit the mark yet. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the bedding good, and there's granite countertops at the sink area. On the minus side, tub did not merely drip, but had a stream going all the time. The a/c could not keep up with what we asked (it was in the mid-80's outside). When asked about these, the staff said they knew about the faucet and the a/c, and will eventually get fixed when funding is available. Next time I'd spend a little more and stay elsewhere.

We were on a business trip and needed a central location near the interstate. We originally only booked for one night but upon check out asked if they could accommodate us for a second night and they were more than happy to help. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. It was a pleasant experience.

If you have special requests I.e. Handicap accessibility call hotel directly as the do not get requests forwarded by Hotels.com. The hotel tried to accommodate me but I still ended up with 2nd floor room. Outlets in sink area did not work so check when you first get room. Breakfast was good and plentiful
REALLY nice placePosted Apr 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Recently completely refurbished facility with great staff and location. Perfect for our event, (been here before). Nothing at all to complain about but left a 4 for location (near Interstate but had ABSOLUTELY no impact) but could not be perfect to show I was paying attention to the evaluation.
