Ok Hotel

Posted May 8, 2014
Rooms are suites and larger than what I needed. It was a clean, quiet room. However, there is no breakfast of any kind at this hotel. No coffee in the rooms or the lobby area. There was a soda machine in the lobby. The only staff I saw while there was at the front desk and I wasn't even acknowledged when passing thru the lobby area. The only time my presense was noticed was during check-in. I got what I paid for!!!

Terrible stay

Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: nothing
Cons: Everything, especially management that is incompetent or indifferent.
When we got to the hotel, the clerk had our reservation in front of her. Sje gave us keys that did npt work. The second set did, after I walked back to the office to get them' Then we saw no pillows on the bed, and the bathroom was filthy..We went back to the desk, and she said she would call someone. We went to dinner, but when we got back, nothing had changed. The desk clerk took pillows out of another room for us, but as this was the only ada room and it was late, we stayed. During the night, our toilet backed up. Next morning, we checked out and will never go back. It is the first time Expedia let me down

Unless it has been remodeled, stay away!

Pros: Nice television.
Cons: Dirty, poorly equipped.
Location: Readily accessible from the interstate.
With any luck, the motel is much better than it was at the beginning of 2013. The desk person told us that the site had new paint, dishes, linens, etc. on order-- and it desperately needed them. At least the sheets were clean; nothing else was. To add insult to injury, the nightly rate was exorbitant. On another trip we stayed at a Studio 6 which was a good value-- the one in Odessa was a nightmare.

Cheap room in west TX- not great, but ok

Posted May 17, 2010 on Hotels.com
The bed was comfy. The rate was cheap. The tub had several long dark hairs and the overall appearance of the room was a bit distressed. The fridge was not cold, but the freezer worked fine. Would stay again if strapped for $$, but otherwise probably would go elsewhere.

It was ok, Nothing to call home about

Posted Mar 23, 2010 on Hotels.com
The guy at the front was clueless when I asked for directions and kept putting me on hold making me waste my gas. When I got there, I had to have a maintenance guy fix the door because it was wide open when i checked in and had to be fixed so I could close and lock it. The entire place looked as if it was needing major remodeling

The problems began when the room's card-key didn't work. Every time we wanted to go into our room we had to go to the cheerless front desk staff to have them re-magnetize the key. There were dirty kleenexes and other trash under the bed, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. The refrigerator buzzed loudly and interfered with our sleep. Outside in the courtyard an upstairs walkway looked to be falling apart but was (thankfully) being repaired, so a construction crew was still hammering and sawing on it at 7pm. Well before checkout time, the housekeeping crew kept knocking on our door every half hour or so, despite our telling them we weren't leaving yet. We tried to change to another room that was more quiet, but the only other room we were given had dirty towels strewn about, the walls were smudged with footprints, and the fridge sounded like a buzz saw. Especially considering the price of this place, we canceled the last day of our stay here. Thankfully Hotels.com made it easy and hassle-free to do so.
