"The house was large enough for our group of 14 with 2 people on couches. No pull out couch but the standard couches were comfortable. FYI the bunk beds in the loft have a 150 lb max weight restriction. The interior was beautiful with pine wood walls. Plenty of parking for 5 cars. About a 12 min. drive into Dubuque. Large yard with lots of birds, very green and lots of outdoor seating/space. Outdoor grill. Large well appointed kitchen, office and garden room with indoor water feature for relaxing and playing cards/games. Large basement with bar and foosball. Toys for little ones. Great house for family gatherings."

"This place is truly a hidden gem I am an Iraq Combat Veteran who served in the Army with the 4th Infantry Division and 101st Airborne Division & all my PTSD went bye bye just being at this place. I didn’t want to leave. What a blessing it was to have found this little hidden spot. I highly recommend anyone & everyone come stay here awhile."

"We brought two of our grandsons ( 9 & 11 ) to the cabin to stay and do a little fishing and playing on the Beach. I would consider it as Glamping. Glamorous camping lol. Grandma and grandpa got comfy beds to sleep in and the grandsons had a blast exploring, fishing Just hanging out at the beach and playing volleyball. It was a win-win for me. This is our 4th Visit to the cabin, but the first time we have ever brought anybody else with us. I thoroughly enjoy having my morning coffee by the fire in the yard and watching the hummingbirds play at the birdfeeders. The grandsons were up early and off to the boat dock for some fishing before breakfast. Most of the afternoons were spent at the beach and then back to the docks for more fishing in the late afternoon. This is my favorite out of all the vacation homes we have rented and will continue to come back and the coming years."

"Best of the midwest. If you want the real deal Iowa experience in the country, this is the place for you. Alot of care and consideration went into decor, and anenities of this property. Communication with hosts was beyond fantastic. Our kids had a blast. As parents we were glad there was no wifi. Lots of board games and movies. Tons of outside space to run around. The FOD was magical and it was great being so close. Packn-play, high chair and stroller pro ides for our infant was really appreciated. All the besd and pillows were extremely comfortable. Dyersville was a small town gem. From the friendly people to tractor parade, flea markets, and the beautiful bascilica, it was nostalgic and relaxing. Having grown up outside a small town in rural Minnesota myself I can tell you this is the most genuine midwest experience you'll get. Come see for yourself!!"

"We had a bachelor party (low key) at this house and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was spacious enough for 11 people (all 30+) and the space down the road was awesome. Between pool, ping pong and basketball it was a blast. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. I would definitely recommend."
