Poor servicePosted Aug 28, 2014
Did not appreciate being roused at 3:45 am for a wake up call I did not place. Also feel sorry for the room that probably did not get the wake up they thought was ordered.

Not really worth the pricePosted Aug 25, 2014
Location: The Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo.
I wasn't impressed that each day they held group gatherings in the lobby for different businesses. It made checking in and getting to the rooms or front desk hard. People stand everywhere and it is extremely noisy and clustered. People were standing at the check in desk using the countertop as a place to hold their drinks. The parking is really bad. People that aren't guests can use the waterpark until 10:00 p.m., so if you are getting back before that time, there is no parking available. They also have a nice little café, however, it closes and you can't buy anything when they are entertaining the business gatherings (in my case was an entire Saturday). They only serve those people, but not the other guests. I'm not understanding why they just don't have the group gatherings/conventions in a convention room like most hotels do. It seemed rather odd. Bloomington was a nice place to visit, but I would probably choose a different place to stay. Sorry.

Hotel with waterslide close to Mall of AmericaPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Close to Mall of America; waterslide
Cons: Better restaurant food; update bed linens/pillows; less expensive waterpark entry for hotel guests.
Location: Close to Mall of America for shopping; close to baseball stadium.
The location of this hotel is great, being only 5 minutes away from the Mall of America. The huge waterslide is an attraction but very expensive. The hotel itself is in need of some renovation. The room was big enough for three adults and a child. The pillows are very uncomfortable. The restaurant had good service but mediocre food. There is a nice snack bar in the lobby.

Nice family hotel and close to the MOA.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Price and proximity to the MOA and the waterpark.
Cons: Parking could be pretty tough at times.
Location: Mall of America and Waterpark.
Everything was quite nice and easy... from check in to check out. We didn't have enough towels in the room but after contacting the front desk some were sent up. And the front desk called to make sure we receive them.

Nice hotel for families with 3 or more kidsPosted Aug 6, 2014
Nice clean hotel. Great bunk rooms for families with 3 or 4 kids. Good waterpark but ask about specials and rates as it is a little pricey.

NO amenities for the money you pay!!Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: More amenities for the price of the hotel room. Have the shuttle run more than just once an hour
Location: Close to the Mall of America and the Water Park of America (just remember this is not included!)
We booked this hotel because we love water park hotels. We have three small children and had high hopes for this hotel attached to the Water Park of America. For the price we paid, we expected to get some amenities included. All we got was the bed we slept in!! The price they expect you to pay for the water park is INSANE! Most water park hotels include the waterpark passes for free. This one expected you to pay $25 for a two year old. All she would be able to do is splash around on the splash pad. So in order for our entire family enter the waterpark, we would have had to pay as much as we paid for the room itself!!! The hotel didn't even have a pool or hot tub. And of course, no continental breakfast. We were lucky to get shampoo and conditioner, which by the way,the housekeeping did not even replenish for us. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, except if you don't mind throwing money away.

Bunk bed suitePosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The Waterpark was fun and convenient. Very well located next to Ikea, the airport, and the MOA. Driving to the mall was easy close to many main roads.
Cons: Better linens for the bunk beds would be a start.
Location: see above
The room was fine. However we had some issues with the bedding on the bunk beds. It was unusual. The sheets were not tucked in and couldn't be by the look of it. The comforter was so small it couldn't cover any kid over 8 years old. The bathroom was way undersized for 6 people.

It was near the Mall of AmericaPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Close to the Mall
Was a little bothered that there was no regular swimming pool. They only had the waterpark and that was extra $25 a day. The restaurant food was not that good.
