Nice Hotel close to de beachPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: That's walking distance from all the needed places to see in Patong
Cons: The courtesy of the attendance in the bar restaurant that serves beer on the beach, that was the only black dot in all the experience.
Location: There are several restaurant walking distance.
Wonderfull exprierience, with my family. The hotel is just crossing the road from the beach. We have a wonderfull time.

Posted Feb 20, 2015

Gutes Hotel am StrandPosted Feb 17, 2015
Cons: Ausstattung / Service vom Rezeption

Average roomsPosted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: The drinks
Cons: Staff need to be a bit more accommodating
Location: Probably a little out of the way
When we first arrived I was quite impressed the with the grand lobby but when we got to our room and looked out the window and all I saw was a building with a massive air conditioner out our window. Very disappoint. When booking with Expedia these things should be explained. And it fell on deaf ears when we complained. But my first room was worst right next to cleaning room so smelt of moisture. They moved us from one bad room to another

No sign of Elvis, thank goodness, despite the namePosted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: The comfort, size of the room, proximity to the beach, being at the quiet end of town, all the things mentioned above.
Cons: Food at the Bar and Grill. My husband's sushi plate looked beautiful but was tasteless. My ham and cheese sandwich was tasteless too, and wasn't bread
Location: Go to the beach, the Jung Ceylon Centre, have a foot massage, eat at local restaurants (Laimai was especially good.) Have clothes tailor made.
The room was excellent despite being the cheapest and therefore had no view. Lovely and large, also large bathroom, comfortable beds. Good to have a wall switch at the desk, one on the wall near the standard lamp would have been handy as well. The cleaner's English was very minimal but she showed us how to access the TV channels no trouble, and was a very smiley sort of person, very friendly. Stuart, the concierge was really helpful and friendly - a great asset to the hotel. And it was good having a native English speaker there as some of the other desk staff had a smaller grasp of English. We eventually managed to communicate properly, however. Free internet was great as we could check our e-mails, but a couple of days we couldn't access Optus. I also liked having the free library service. The chocolate ice creams sold in the foyer were very nice; the other flavours we tried less so, and the lemon sorbet was not good at all - the lemon tasted fake. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety but the butter tasted like margarine, so I bought butter at the supermarket and ate that. The salami had a funny texture, but I enjoyed everything else that I tried. The pools were good and after I followed everyone else's example, and put my beach towel on one of the sun lounges, always had a place to sit/lie.
