Accommodating staffPosted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: The Staff
Cons: An elevator to the upper floor would be great.
Location: I was in town for the National Veterans of Foreign Wars conference held at the convention center only a few miles from the hotel.
Our room was on the upper floor which made it a little difficult for me due to knee injury and the other lady that was with me, it was difficult for her to climb stairs given she is 74 years old with some major health issues. The staff there was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. That room did have an air condition that was not working and they were able to put us into another room right away. It was nice being treated with kindness and not like we were a problem. Thank You to your staff.

The room smelled terrible and the air conditioning didn't work. Not a very comfortable place to stay

Cheap price but Two Thumbs Down.Posted Jul 23, 2015
The hotel was dirty and in poor condition. My room was full of cobwebs, the bathroom fixtures and tile were extremely dated and grimy looking, and in general my room was in need of a good cleaning and freshening up. Although breakfast was included in the price I was unable to eat because the cleanliness of the area didn't meet my standards. I guess you end up getting what you pay for.

Pros: not much- bed and TV was ok
Cons: tear it down and start over

you have to go down stairs to get the only ice in the building - the pool is in front of the hotel along with the freeway- not cool and on and on

Convenient location to be able to access the city without having to deal with the traffic congestion. All in all a safe feeling stay. Needs a bit of renovation but it appears as if a new facility is being built next door currently.

Gross but pool okayPosted Jul 21, 2015
My seven year old and I stayed here on the first night of a cross-country trip. The room had an overpowering odor of air freshener/urinal cake, with a smokey undercurrent (we were supposedly put in a non-smoking room; I suspect it had at least formerly been a smoking room). The place seemed terribly run down. There was no elevator, despite the hotel having three levels, and it was pretty difficult getting a heavy suitcase up a steep flight of stairs. To top everything off, when we left our room in the morning, we noticed damage to the door next to the knob, like someone had tried to pry their way in with a crowbar. I'm certain that was already there and we just didn't notice it the day before, as I think I would have heard someone trying to get in. That brings me to the one plus for this hotel - the room was relatively quiet, even though the halls and surrounding rooms were raucous. It's also nice to be able to walk to Eat'n'Park, which is 24 hours, and the pool, while very small, was okay. My son enjoyed it, and it was big enough for about 5-6 kids and 2 adults to splash around.

Just one nightPosted Jul 17, 2015
Cons: facilities and breakfast improvements.
Location: Location was ok.
We were in a group of 6 and spent the night before a presentation. Everyone seemed to rest well, our room had a light problem and a water leak that was continuous. The room was clean and we had plenty of pillows, it was clean and we slept well also. The breakfast was minimal and we had to find a place to eat to please most of the group who like a more traditional meal.

excellent staff.Posted Jul 6, 2015
They let us check in early, and check out late. Also, let me switch a room for no charge. Not the nicest hotel, but not bad for an over nighter

It was convenient not far from station square.Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: I liked the closest to station square
Cons: I think the breakfast meal could be updated to a more substantial breakfast.
Location: Station Square -- Gateway clipper
We had to ask for another room since our original room wasn't clean and ready for us
